man its been a lonng ass time since ive wrote in here. sorry i just prefer MYspace..lol emily. well, im at college now. i am officially a hoosier. its really fun. ive met some really nice sweet people, but no like one person that ive been hanging out with a lot. well actually, ive really just been hanging out with brittany from c ville a lot. shes really cool. well, on wednesday we had the freshmen induction ceremony. it was all the freshmen, which was 6000 and something, plus all the parents. it was basically like speeches and stuff certifieing that we are now freshmens at iu. thursday i met up with brittany and we went with my roomie to find all our classes and stuff. today was pretty cool. they have this traditions and spirit thing here and its basically a big pep rally for all the freshmen. but like every dorm gets together before u go and learns a cheer, and then we went to the peprally and had to do the cheers. lol it was fun, they had like strobe lights, and a huge marching band came marching out of like all this smoke. it was sweet. then tonight we went to midnight madness. the school had buses bus whoever wanetd to go, over to walmart where they supposedly had "great deals" on stuff only for iu students. i think the prices were exactly the same, but whatever it was still fun and chaotic. ok well i guess i have to go to sleep cuz the roomie might be getting mad, i think she wants to sleep. ok ttyl!! tali

orientation

well, i just got back from orientation in indiana. it was really fun. i didnt expect it to be at all. i was kinda worried about making friends and stuff, but everyone was really nice and very friendly. my roommate kati was really awesome, and i also made friends with the other girls next doorand across the hall. ok, in the dorm- no airconditioning. sooooo incredibly hot. stifiling in fact. that first night we went to bed at like 1 30 and my room mate and i both were still tossing and turning in our beds by like 4. it was miserable. then we got up and had to meet everyone and register by 9. then, we had the exams. ughhh really bad. well get to the scores on those later. :) then, the day rolled along, very slowly. we went to soo many programs and walked so much, it was almost unbearable. then for dinner, we were supposed to eat in the foodcourt with our parents. well mine didnt want to eat in the food court and i didnt exactly etheir so we went out. we skipped the session before dinner so we would ahve enough time. then, condtions became monsoon-like so we just shopped a little, wasting time. finally we went and ate and my parents tried to walk me back to where the group would be after dinner. well, we couldnt find it and then when we did they had already left, sooo long story short- i skipped 2 mandatory sessions. haha. so that night we had free time to do whatever we wanted to. there was free bowling and massages and other stuff in the union. FACT: indiana has the largest student union in the country. its really nice. hmnn what else to say.... oh yes i think i pulled my groin running to the icecream shop in town last night. we got there and they were already closed, needless to say we banged on the door and got our dang ice cream.
*today was advising day. my appointment was at 8 20. i was really surprised that we all had our own individual advisors. mine was really nice. she completely arranged my whole schedule so that when i went to the library to put it in the computer, nothing would overlap so i wouldnt have to deal with finding different classes.

schedule: im exploratory which means undecided but my majiors i wrote down were political science and history, going into law school. im taking 16 credits.

Freshmen seminar- 11:15- 12:05 M,W,F.
english lecture- 2:30- 3:20 M,W. its a literature class.
englsih discussion- 10:10- 11 T, THU.
second year spanish-( tested out of first year) 9:05- 9:55 M,W,F.
ancient civilization- 4- 5:15 T,THU.
finite math- 1:25- 2:15 M, T, W, F. its kinda weird tho, it doesnt start till oct 25.
residential learning wokrshop (requirement) schedule TBA.

well, i think thats it. if u havent been to orientation yet. dont stress about it like i did. its fun.

*what up whodays? well, im chillin here at rachaels with emily and rach of course. ummmmmm i havent updated in quite some time. lots of drama has been going on this summer. its weird i never have drama. never. im nice to everyone and i rarely have my friends mad at me. well, this summer has been different. weve only been out of school like 2 weeks, and i swear ive had big ol fights with virtually all of my friends. everything is pretty much back to normal now except for one who will remain unnamed, who has not called me back even tho she said she would..... anywho.....
*on monday whit, boo, rach, me and lindsay went to the jason mraz concert in nashville!!!!! it was soooooooo good. he is hot, talented, adorable, skilled, scat-able and soo much more. i am in love. i loved him before but now i love him even more. i want to marry him and have his many children. lol. so, at the concert were heard the vocal stylings of MAKANA. haha he was really gay. there was also this blind black guy. his name was raul midon. he was pretty cool. he played a guitar but it sounded like a whole band was playing.
*we were sitting in our seats, emily, lindsay and i were quietly talking and all of a sudden the frau in front of us whips around and says " MUST you continue to CHATTER, it is very annoying". haha. then she turned around and instructed whitney and rachael to "shut their mouths", accompanied by a strange hand motion. ahhhhhh damn the fraus to hell. the rest of the night was fun. lindsay and emily tried to sabotage the fraus. but their efforts were futile. peace out

today was the last official day of highschool. we go tomorrow for the senior breakfast and the slide show (yay). i had an anatomy and ap euro exam today. pretty sure i didnt pass ethier one of them, which is to be expected since i didnt crack a book. today is really bittersweet. im happy to get out of damn clarksville, and finally leave the academy after 14 years, and get away from parents. but then of course im sad about leaving all my friends here. i have so many awesome friends that i see everyday, i just dont know how im gonna do w/o seeing and talking to them next year. i know i say that im ready to leave the academy, and i think i am, but as much as i hate to admit it, because its sooooo gay sometimes, that place is my home and has been for 14 years. weve had soo many fun times in that building and in those class rooms.
** im going to miss-
damn wiggins and his prick-y-ness, prashant and i's daily staring contests in c wig, lol the crazy times in the angus's class, juegos in spanish, of course FREE PERIOD ADVENTURES with jen, boo, and kristen, to include: stan the pizza man, QUIZNOS, the nico, o charleys, gettin tipsy, chinese, big lots, hooters, kristens minimal consumption of food, mall trips, mall trips in gangsta boos dresses, and gosh all the other places and things we did, too many to list. and ill miss anatomy, haha and the other prick, the genz. being 15 minutes late for anatomy: "BUT COACH, WE WAITED FOR U IN THE CLASS ROOM CUZ WE THOUGHT CLASS WAS IN THERE TODAY" lol and vice versa in the c-lab. and of course all the penis investigating and naked andy roddick pics in the c lab. trying to escape out the door in the beasts lair. we are far to cunning and stealth for the beast! and all the fun times in ap euro, ruess's horrible grasp on the english language and the correct spelling of words. for example: individualisticism, quait, the sean of students and many more. and hammy and his witty sayings, and of course all that interesing euro history we learned. haha right. plus sooo much moe and everyone else i didnt mention.
** THE GIRLS- im going to miss all of u so much next year!!
boo- im going to miss how crazy we always are together, we never seem to stop laughing, EVER. ill miss the nashville mall trips with u and rach, all those hoodlums we saw, secret window, nyc, the frau, JACKIE...ewwww, our ability to know the words to like every song ever made, esp chingee and all that gangsta rap. lol turn around bright eyes, are u happy now?, and of course the beyonce shake that neither one of us could successfully do..., that was crazyness. lol ill also miss all the fun u, me and rach have had with my bro and his friends. haha joe and his gambo, turtle, and the crab we set free. gosh theres so much more but theres just too little time. moving on.....
rach- man rach we have so many memories i dont know where to start. ill miss our shopping trips. who even knows how many times we have gone to the mall together. im sure it is some grossly obscene number. haha ill miss the many times where we have gone shopping apart from one another and bought like the same exact thing. we're just cool like that. gosh ill miss all the parties at your house. your slumber parties were absolutely the best!!! I LOVE A GOOD SLUMBER PARTY, as u know. lol plus the other parties u had, those were LOTS of fun too!! and of course our incessant wining about dance and how much we hate it and that it sucks. tommy, doug(he is soo spritual and theraputic, lol), cooldogs, and soo much more!!!
kristen- man ill miss our free period adventures, as menioned above. plus, the times where we hung out at ur house watchin tv, chillin. all the fun times in the c-lab. halloween at ur house. that was fun even tho emily thought she like broke her elbow!! hahahahah! i remember when we ran out of that haunted house i tripped and fell on the pavement. that was funny. plus our love of awesome music, with boo too, AAR, and dashboard, john mayer, switchfoot and others.
jenn- il miss ur crazyness, and insane stories about stuff. free period, rides in ur car to the park to "eat lunch". haha i gg to dance ill finish this later, yo.

*well, not too much to update. today was our last monday AND our last whole day of highschool EVER. scary, huh? we didnt do anything as usual since it was review day. apparently the govt exam is going to be IMPOSSIBLE to pass. by the way, that supposedly came right from wiggins mouth (i didnt hear it). he is such a but sometimes. today, everyone, and i mean everyone was talking, yet he yelled across the class room, "tali,do u wanna go sit in the bathroom?",i was like uhh, no. and he said well u better stop talking then. nice, huh? yea i thought so. at least he didnt put me in time out like he did earlier this year, which was utterly ludicrous. then in english those of us that didnt have to take the exam went to the computer lab. i set up a myspace thing. i still dont really understand it but whatever. i guess its cool, lots of people have one. third period we had to go to mrs rowletts kids play, we saw like 10 minutes of it, then went back to the computer lab.
*on the historic last day of free period EVER, em, jenn, and i went to hooters for lunch. after hooters we went to big lots, where lots of fun ensued. we were looking for hot trailer park accessories that we could use for a certain upcoming event. we bought some hot glasses, huge pinwheels, and i purchased a small plastic deer that has a hole cut out of its back. i think its supposed to be a plant holder, but im not sure. when we got back, we went back to the computer lab, surprise, surprise, for anatomy. im going to fail that exam soooo bad. i have not learned a darn thing all year. then came chorus-blah as usual. kristen u werent there and it sucked!!! christina and i can not hold it down ourselves. yea, and then came euro, i was hoping, no praying i wouldnt have to take the exam. but i do. im soo pissed. yeah, and then i went home. haha i went to the dollar store and bought noah a bday present. haha its so gay. lol. im xcited bout giving it to him. well, im out.

-well field day was yesterday. i dont know why i was so sad about it being our last. it really sucked. i normally dont go to field day, because of my allergies, which i think is why i thought it would be fun. i didnt remember how much it sucked. we just sat around ALL day. boo and i begged mrs. white to let us go to the bp to get food. finally she let us go cuz she needed cups. emily and i got TONS of food. lol and subway which we ate at 9 30 in the morning. it was better than those nasty hotdogs that they were gonna give us for lunch. after field day, boo and i went to dq and got blizzards. we saw a bunch of people there. then, i had to go to dance and assist for ms cindy. and after that i just chilled at home, watching the bachelor.
-i went to bed at lke 10 and then i was woken up at like 11 15 to the sounds of my parents and noah screaming at each other. noah had a soccer game and apparently wasnt answering his phone and my parents wanted to know where he was. ugh so after that i couldnt really go back to sleep.
-tonight is awards night!!! yay! not. im not excited. im not getting any awards so i dont know why i have to go.

wow i had a revelation on the way home from school today. we have one real week of school left. its just now hitting me that its over. its over!! i dont want to graduate!!! lol. no, i do, im just really scared to leave everybody.

-ahhh very long weekend. well, the ap euro test, real bad. friday night was supposed to be girls night out. we were gonna go eat at cumberland grill and then go see the mary kate and ashley movie(lol). so we went to cumberland grill, only emily was late. we were wonderin where she was so i called her and she said she had gotten in a wreck. i think all of our hearts skipped a beat. we love u boo!!! anyway, she was fine, so that was good. so she met us at the movies and we saw newyork minute. if u were looking forward to seeing this movie, i would recommend you not. it was really, really, really bad. horrible in fact. ok, moving on.....

-saturday... PRE-PROM. woke up at about 11 and basically layed around all day, till the primping began. ohh, forgot to mention, grandma flew in from michigan for prom. PROM. yea, ok. so got my herrr done at eden at about 3: 15. just my luck, i get there and surprise-- the power is out. the hair lady is like well, ill see what i can do. i was petrified. luckily though, the power came back on within 15 minutes. she finished up and i really liked what she did. it was cute. after that i went to the mall and got my makeup done at lancome. i was kinda nervous. i had never gotten my makeup done at the mall before. it turned out good. its just kind of unsettling that the people that do your makeup there have no real training whatsoever. i mean who knows what kind of damage some of them could do.

-saturday night- THE PROM. clyde picked me up around 6 or so and we headed to the country club. we got there and mingled for awhile. everyone looked so pretty!!! then we got in grand march lines. it wsa so f-ing hot!! then we had the father daughter, mother son dance. haha that was funny. dad and i danced for like a minute and then were like ooo were done. lol we are very sentimental. so, finally after parents left we had dinner. it was sorta weird we didnt have like any music during dinner. dinner was ok. not awesome. then the beagles started. they were really good. it was really nice having a live band. i mean they played all old music but it was still cool. in between their breaks we played rap on a little boombox. lol. the only thing that sucked at prom besides the scorching heat, was the senior song. i dont know why ANYONE voted for that song. if u dont know what song im speaking of, that would be ill be there for you, by the rembrandts. if u dont recognize it by that title, then, perhaps, the friends theme song. yes, ring a bell? ding ding ding, that song. we could barely hear it because it was on that tiny little boom box and no one knew all the words. frankly it was a little gay. overall prom was awesome. i had sooo much fun. i wish we could do it all over again.

-later saturday night- THE AFTER PROM. after prom was a lot of fun. no, there were no inflatables, which i was a little more than upset about, but it was still really fun. it was at the athletic club and we played bunko(whit, you and i are bunko CHAMPIONS!!!) HAHA that was so much fun. then there was the fear factor competition which i did not do because im a wimp. it was fun to watch tho. CONGRATS BOO!! whit took me home about 3 30 cuz clyde wasnt reay to leave. i had to leave early cuz we had a dance competition all day sunday so i needed to get at least a little sleep.

-THE DANCE COMPETITION. sucked. thats all i really have to say. rach and i were so tired and worn out. it was horrible. we were there from 12 30 to about 7, doing 5 dances. it was bad. real bad. we got 2 golds and 3 high golds. thats respectable.

sorry i couldnt finish the update. the geinz made us pack up shop. anyway so this weekend, me, emily, whit, joe, noah, gary, and lil joe went to riverstages. it was fun. on friday some asshole cut me off on the highway then i passed him, then he raced by, hanging out the window flipping me off. it was really scary. we were all screaming. so after that we came home to my house and hung out for a while. saturday we were supposed to go back but no one felt like it, plus it was raining. rach, scott, and i went to see mean girls. it was really funny and cute. i liked it. sunday we went back down to nashville. it was friken cold. rach, em and i spent half the time balled up in the ca blanket. anyway, we saw story of the year, trapt, finger 11, and puddle of mud. it was fun.
* in other news, i got my herr did on monday. i like it. i got red highlights. hampton told me they were fuschia. i guess they kinda are but she said theyll fade really soon. well thats all i gotta say. ttyl

*well, im at school right now, in the computer lab, "doing anatomy". we couldnt do our presentation on gonorrhea today cuz emily is at home sick. feel better boo!!! we got yearbooks today!! yay! thats exciting! it kinda makes me sad ya know? lately ive had conflicting views about graduating. obviously i want to, but at the beginnning of the year i thought id be sooo sad. but now im ready. i love all my friends but im ready to meet new ones. im excited.

well today was the annual kindergarden buddy trip to the zoo. i was semi excited this morning. semi. so we met with our buddies after assembly and got on the bus. my buddy is cute. i mean i like her and all but she doesnt really talk to me so pretty much the first 30 minutes of the bus ride was her and i sitting in our seats not saying a word. it was boring. then finally she warmed up when we played eye spy for a good 20 minutes straight. then, the kids started harassing me. and of course jonathan and jared antagonized them, calling me a sasquatch, and saying that i was returning home to my family. so yea, that was fun. then we finally got to to the zoo and walked around. emily, her buddy ritika, and shelby and i stayed together. i think we saw like 4 different animals cuz emily and i didnt feel like manuevering through the crowds. we bought them stretchy gooey frogs, but had to hide them cuz we werent allowed to buy them anything. then we found out other people had gotten their kids stuff so we just gave it to them on the bus home. i guess all in all it was a fun day. kinda stressful, having to keep up with two crazy kids at a crowded zoo.
ooooooh and in other exciting news, allie has a journal! yay! i miss you allie!! tonight is tv night! oc and the bachelor. alrighty, im out, gotta go to dance. whoooooo.

welcome to live joural

well, i switched to live journal. i hardly ever update but i figured since everyone else switched i would. emily pleaded with me to switch so i could update over the summer. yeah right. anyway, yesterday afterschool, i went to the mall with whit and rach. we helped mama ritz pick out some new clothes. she looked cute in them. then, we just walked around the mall, shopped a bit. i bought the ben jelen cd!! yay!!!! if u havent heard him u should download some stuff. hes really good. anywho, then we met up with emily and went to the country club for dinner to see laura in all of her junior cotilion glory. we saw ham (the butcher), who looked stunning, lol, and carrie and some other peeps. everyone looked very nice. after dinner, we went to see 13 going on 30. it was sooooo good. very, very sweet. after the movie we made a cameo at the sigma chi party. it was fun. it wouldve been more fun if we had had some drinks, but oh well. today, i got up at the butt crack of dawn, well not really, like 9 30, but i was up pretty late last night. anyway we went to a fashion show that whit was in at her church. it was cute. then the rest of the day rach and i have been shopping around, buying lots of useless crap. thats always fun. we ate dinner at cumberland grill and now we are chillin. alright, im out.
